A stay-at-home dad in Denver Colorado. I’ve got a very smart, very beautiful wife and three crazy kids. Some mentoring/counseling on the side. Working really hard to live a truly un-miserable life. Love watching people change.
Thank you Mark. Its your right to feel miserable. There’s a time for everything. Enjoy this and move on to depression. Kidding :-))). No, enjoy the wife and kids. You are very blessed to have them.
You are a superb writer, my friend. I love your humor and sarcasm so evident in most all the posts I have read. You inspire me to be (not so) completely miserable. And thanks for the wry comment on my latest post. I appreciate it.
Please try NOT to help it! I love it! And this is coming from one who, day by day, is seeing the filtering mechanism between my mind and my mouth deteriorates more each day. So no worries… no self censorship!
How could you possibly ever be miserable surrounded by such gifts from God, those gorgeous children? Thank you for the introduction to your blog. Wishing you much happiness.
Hi – I nominated you for the 3 Day Quote Challenge – hope you like the idea! Go to na for more information. All the best and apologies for any ‘glitches.’
Hello Matt! I’ve nominated you for the Room 101 Award! If you’d like to accept or decline, feel free to do so. You can see the post I nominated on at on Friday at 2 pm. Have a wonderful day! 🙂
I read some of your posts but couldn’t choose which one to comment on so I came here. I find myself identifying with what you are writing as far as God and what He thinks of me. I gave my life over 21 years ago and unfortunately the various churches I attended sucked the joy right out of it for me. Yet, that still small voice kept speaking, I kept heeding to it, and I now stand in a place where I don’t need to people please or God please. I had to disengage myself from church to get here. It’s just not for me. And, of course, any good preacher would tell me not to forsake the assembly of the brethren. However, after years of having scripture twisted and turned to make the flock conform, I have found that my relationship with Him is stronger outside of the church walls. Bravo to you for being at home with your children. This is your mission field. And if they get to know God’s love through you, all the better! Keep up the good writing.

You bet – thanx for your comment about sarcasm – sometimes I think I overdo it but I can’t help it:)

Ha – will do, much to the chagrin of my wife… Thanx again

Oh, i’m very creative when it comes to being blind to the beauty around me – eyes are opening though 🙂

Thank you!
How nice to come across your blog. Look forward to reading more of your stuff. Stay happy! 🙂
I met the fake Mark Landry once. He isn’t a nice fellow. Looks a lot like you, only with an evil goatee – like in Star Trek.
I’ll let you know when I meet the real Kevin
Touche. (If you find one of those “e”s with the jot on top, change it out for me, K? Thanks.)
Keep up the good work, Mark.

You had me at your tagline….”in pursuit of an un-crappy life”…..brilliant!
Beautiful family–LOVE those happy faces!! God bless you all, Azul.
Thanx!!
Most welcome!
Love this picture! What beautiful kids.
Love this: in pursuit of an un-crappy life
It’s definitely a “do as I say, not as I do” proposition… 🙂
Lol!
Ditto. I’m right there with you guys. Never an atheist, but certainly acted like one for too long. Pleased to meet ya. 🙂

why uncrappy instead of good or awsome?
